This past week.
Nothing funny or very fun happened at all!
I had to do a lot of really responsible things.
-I went and got eye glasses. Everybody else in my family wears them and I was the only one that never had my eyes tested, so I went cuz I get a lot of headaches and it turns out I needed them.
-I quit smoking and bought and electric cigarette. It’s actually not that bad. I can use it indoors and even at my desk at work…so in a way, I am kind of better off than I was before…and it won’t kill me.
-I had to buy a new laptop. I am writing a book with a friend and I needed a new computer to do it. I bought a sweet bag to carry it in though:
-I still can’t find my gold fronts AND now I can add my snake bone ring to my list of things I lost cuz I lost that too!!! It was cast from a snake rib bone and I really loved it. I haven’t been wearing any of my other rings in mourning.
-One nice thing happened. My girlfriend got me a nice pair of shoes from Osborn Designs. I first bought her a pair back in December and she knew I liked them a lot, so she set it up so I could go into their design studio in Greenpoint (Brooklyn) and pick a pair out. They had a ton of beautiful pairs, but I really wanted one with some red in it. The pair I got aren’t available for sale online right now, but you can see them in this pic (the are the maroon ones with some stripes in the middle toward the bottom. That is the couple that owns the company’s dog in the pic; and that dog is awesome. I love dogs.):

-I took a tattoo lesson from my friend Terry Marks (www.artgalny.com) and it went really well. I had been giving people a lot of really bad tattoos for a while now, so it was about time. She helped me do a really good job on a tattoo. I don’t have a picture of it yet, but I might post it if I do. Terry is a cool artist and you should get a tattoo from her if you live in NYC. She did this giant Jerri Blank tattoo on my arm. I can’t remember if I got it when I was still drinking and doing drugs, or about an hour after I stopped drinking and using drugs (for good) which explains why I was crazy enough to get a gigantic Jerri Blank tattoo. I don’t know if I would do the same thing today…at least maybe not so big.
-OH! and I went to a couple fashion shows, cuz it was fashion week here in NYC and I like fashion. My favorite was Costello Tagliapietra (cuz I got to sit in the front row!) and my second favorite was Ann Yee, cuz hers was at the Tribeca Grand with no seating. It was a really good time and she presented an awesome video and I got to see some friends I hadn’t seen in a while…namely Jay McCarroll who went on Celebrity Fit Club (airing right now) and did a bang up job, cuz he looked good as fuck!

In closing, here is a picture of my girlfriends hand when she types!!!!!! This is so fucked up. I told her I would give her a typing lesson cuz her fucking hand is going to fall off if she keeps doing this!!! ARRRRRR!!!
